Shito is Ghanaian hot chili sauce also called kpakpo shito. The ingredients that are commonly used in shito are dried chili peppers, dried fish, ginger, and oil (usually vegetable oil). It is often used as an accompaniment to fish dishes or kenkey. It can also eaten with steamed white rice, fried plantains, green vegetables, eba and waakye (a dish made from rice and beans).
